Healthy Relationships workshops for young people
- Workshop takes approx 2 hours
- Suitable for groups of 30-40 young people
About the workshop
- We explore domestic violence and abuse through the context of ‘healthy’ versus ‘unhealthy’ relationships.
- Young people learn the prevalence of domestic violence and abuse in society and among their peers.
- They learn about the different types of abuse, what coercive control looks like in a teen relationship, and about digital abuse.
- We discuss how to help a friend and what to do if they think they're in an abusive relationship.
- We provide support details for organisations that can help them.
- The workshop encourages participation and questions through anonymous, interactive methods.
