Saoirse Book Club is a virtual feminist reading community with an analogue twist.
Six times a year, we gather online to discuss thought-provoking novels by female authors — with members voting on the books we read together.

Why Saoirse needs your help
1 in 3 women in Ireland have experienced abuse in a relationship. Your support makes our work possible.
Every day, we help women and their families escape abuse and begin to rebuild their lives.
We have been supporting women and children experiencing domestic violence for 20 years. We provide life-saving and life-changing services – including refuge accommodation, 24/7 helpline, counselling, and children's services.
Thanks to Saoirse Supporters like you, we provide compassionate support to more than 500 families every year.

Do I need to attend every meeting?
Not at all. Join whenever you can. You can also stay in touch with your fellow Book Club members in our private WhatsApp group.
Do I need to buy the book myself?
Yes — members source their own copy, so you can read in whichever format you prefer.
Where are meetings held?
Online via video call, so you can join from anywhere.
Saoirse doesn't organise in-person meet-ups, but we welcome members to arrange local get-togethers.
When is the next Saoirse Book Club discussion?
Join today and you can attend our next Book Club meeting. It takes place via Zoom on Sunday, 31 May, 7.00-pm - 8.00pm.

When will I receive postal packs?
Snail mail packs are sent between meetings and included with active memberships. When you sign up, you'll receive the current pack ASAP.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Your subscription is a monthly donation and can be changed or cancelled whenever you wish.
Where does my money go?
Membership fees directly support Saoirse Domestic Violence Services, helping us support women and children experiencing domestic abuse.
Is this only for readers in Ireland?
The club is open internationally, though postal delivery times may vary.
What kind of books do you read?
We read novels by female authors, with members voting on selections. Selected books might be literary classics, new releases, recent bestsellers or award winners.
