Gathering the Core Materials
Monday 11th May So Evie, Sophie and I have been gathering our core materials to get started. Sophie has outgrown her denim jacket so I've had to get her a new one. My denim jacket was also a bit snug so whilst in London at the weekend I bought a vintage mans denim jacket to wear as an oversized denim jacket for myself. I also picked up a second hand mans shirt to repurpose as the lining for the inside of the jacket. Brick Lane in London was amazing for patches and pins that will really help customize the jackets. I told a few of the sellers about the craftathon and they were so sweet and supportive. The girls have been going through some of their outgrown clothing and we plan to cut out some unicorns and dinosaurs from them to applique on to their denim jackets. We are having so much fun already :-) Share
