Crafters For Saoirse
Take on a 24-hour craftathon this May.
Help women escape domestic violence.
We’re calling on knitters, stitchers, painters, doodlers, and crafty queens (and kings!) to turn their creativity into something truly powerful.
Join Crafters For Saoirse and take on a fun, flexible craft challenge — while raising vital funds for Saoirse Domestic Violence Services.
Take part at home, work, school, or wherever you are on Saturday, 30 May — or pick any date that suits you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can take part?
Everyone is welcome — beginners, seasoned makers, hobbyists, or anyone curious to try something new.
You don’t need to be an expert. Just bring your creativity and your heart.
What should I do with the crafts I make?
Consider offering your creations as thank-yous for donations. Or how about creating one special piece to raffle to your supporters?
Of course, you're welcome to keep your creations for yourself!
Can under-18s take part?
Under-18s can register and take part as long as they've received permission from a parent or guardian.
Can I do my challenge on a different date?
Absolutely! Saturday, 30 May is our suggested date, but you can choose any date (or dates) that work best for you.
Does my challenge have to be a full 24 hours?
Not at all. While some participants love the idea of a 24-hour craftathon, many prefer shorter sessions or team relays.
Your wellbeing comes first — if disrupting your routine could impact your mood or wellbeing, we encourage you to choose a shorter or spread-out challenge.
What's in my registration pack?
Your pack includes:
-
A Crafters For Saoirse fundraising guide
-
A practical Craftathon Planner
-
Crafters For Saoirse stickers
Everything you need to start creating and fundraising with confidence.
How much do I have to raise?
If you reach €250, you’ll receive our exclusive Crafters For Saoirse tote bag as a thank-you.
