I'm raising funds for Saoirse Domestic Violence Services. This cause matters deeply to me – and I’d be so grateful if you could donate.

Saoirse is a charity close to my heart that helps women and children escape domestic violence.

All funds raised support Saoirse's life-saving and life-changing services – including refuge accommodation, 24/7 helpline, counselling, and children's services.

Saturday 30th May
After about 11 hours of knitting today (Sat 30th May) I have to take a break.  It's been a great experience! 

I didn't make it easy for myself committing to two projects, one of which proved to be quite challenging.  My cat so far got a body, head, and one paw and it kinda took shape enough for me to see how it'll work at the end!  
The scarf is about 1/4 done, but it's an easy knit, just need a bit more time. 

I'll work on both projects in the next few days until they are complete. I'll post the pictures as I go. I'll do a raffle at the end.

Thank you very much to everyone who supported me and gave donations to this great charity!  It's amazing, how much we can do if community comes together!

Thank you for supporting my fundraiser. All donations will go directly to help women escaping domestic violence.


For the Crafters for Saoirse challenge I will be making two different items - a scarf and a soft toy cat.  Once finished, I will raffle both items. Everyone, who donates will be included in a raffle. 

 Any amount is appreciated! 


I picked a popular Sofie pattern for a scarf -  a beautiful  and practical piece. Something that will make one long for colder days to have an excuse to wear it. 

The cat - a fun project inspired by Gonya, the Smurfcat that roams freely my workplace  corridors to the annoyance of the café staff and the delight of everyone else!

The patterns are ready so I'm selecting yarn for them before setting off. 

The aim is to have both finished by 30th May.
