Saoirse is a charity close to my heart that helps women and children escape domestic violence.

All funds raised support Saoirse's life-saving and life-changing services – including refuge accommodation, 24/7 helpline, counselling, and children's services.

💞 🧶 Hour 6 Update💞🧶: The First Blanket is Complete!
I am officially six hours into my  ✨️24-Hour Craftathon✨️, and I am so excited to share the first finished project!

This purple and blue granny-square blanket is officially off the hook. It feels amazing to see something tangible come together so quickly, especially knowing that every stitch is helping to support a mission that matters. Check out the photos on my social media:

I am doing this 24-hour marathon to raise money for Saoirse, an incredible charity that provides vital support and refuge for survivors of domestic violence.

This is a cause that is very close to my heart. No one should have to live in fear, and the work Saoirse does to provide safety and a fresh start for families is life-changing.

💞 My May Crochet Challenge: 24 Hours for a Cause! 💞

Hi everyone! I’m taking on a big personal challenge this month, and I wanted to share it with you all. For the four Mondays in May, I’m dedicating 6 hours every single Monday to my crochet hook and yarn.

My goal is to hit a total of **24 hours** of crafting by the end of the month!

✨️What I’m Making✨️
I’ll be busy stitching up a variety of fun items, including:
 *Granny Square Blankets: Classic, cozy, and full of color.
 *Coffee Cup Cosies: To keep your drinks warm and your hands comfortable.
 *Keyrings: Small, cute gifts to brighten up your keys or bags.
 *And more! 

✨️Why I’m Doing It✨️
This isn't just about finishing projects; it’s about giving back. Every single item I make during these 24 hours will be put up for sale.
**100% of the money raised** from these items will be donated directly back to the fundraiser. It’s a way for me to use a hobby I love to help support a great cause.

- Finding My Strength: Why I’m Fundraising

Hi everyone! I’m so glad you’re here. I am starting this fundraising campaign because supporting survivors of domestic violence is something incredibly close to my heart.

- My Journey
I didn’t always have the peaceful life I have now. Growing up, my home was a place of violence and fear. It was a very difficult way to start my life, but things began to change when I entered foster care. That time in my life was a turning point—it gave me the safety and the space I needed to start healing from the things I had been through.

- What Keeps Me Grounded
Healing isn't a one-time event; it’s something I work on every day. I’ve found so much joy and peace in the simple things. If you know me, you know I absolutely love crochet. There’s something so calming about creating something beautiful stitch by stitch.
I’m also a huge cat lover! My cats are a constant source of comfort and tiny, furry reminders of how good life can be.

I am also incredibly lucky to have a wonderful husband and a family who stand by me through everything. Their support has been my rock, helping me turn my past experiences into a mission to help others.
