24 Hours. One Controller. A Cause Worth Staying Up For.

This June, I'm taking on a real challenge: a 24-hour gaming marathon to raise money for Saoirse Domestic Violence Services as part of their Gamers For Saoirse campaign.

That's a full day. No sleep, probably too much caffeine, and a lineup of games picked to keep things entertaining from the first hour to the bleary-eyed finish. But the real point isn't the games ā€” it's what they're for.

Saoirse is a charity close to my heart. It helps women and children escape domestic violence, offering free, confidential support to anyone affected. Every euro raised goes toward their life-changing services ā€” refuge accommodation, a 24-hour helpline, counselling, and dedicated support for children. To put it in perspective: ā‚¬25 can help keep that helpline open, ā‚¬55 can provide emotional support for a child, and ā‚¬75 can help give a woman a safe space and counselling.

Here's where you come in. This only works if people show up ā€” to watch, to cheer, to donate, and to share. Whether you drop in for five minutes or stick around for a marathon stretch at 3am, you're part of it.
