Why Saoirse needs your help
1 in 3 women in Ireland have experienced abuse in a relationship. Your support makes our work possible.
Every day, we help individuals, children and families escape abuse and begin to rebuild their lives.
We have been supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic violence for 20 years. We provide life-saving and life-changing services – including refuge accommodation, 24/7 helpline, counselling, and children's services.
Thanks to Saoirse Supporters like you, we provide compassionate support to more than 500 families every year.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I do my challenge on a different date?
Absolutely! Saturday, 27 June is our suggested date, but you can choose any date (or dates) that work best for you.
Does my challenge have to be a full 24 hours?
Not at all. The 24-hour gaming challenge is really flexible.
While some participants love the idea of a 24-hour gaming marathon, many prefer spreading it out, doing shorter sessions, or team relays.
Your wellbeing comes first — if disrupting your routine could impact your mood or wellbeing, we encourage you to choose a shorter or spread-out challenge.
Take part however and whenever works for you. The most important thing is that you enjoy taking part while raising awareness for Saoirse Domestic Violence Services.
